Peachies Cute Things?

The site is a mass collection of images gathered over years from various places, and was found to offer Hello Kitty and Garfield and other copyrighted material I don't recommend using images from it.

DUh, I knew I had saved the final outcome someplace, it was on my storage site LOL

The site is a collection of mostly pixel animations, very few does she admit to actually being her own. Many of the different pages do give credit to the site or pixel maker that she "adopted" (??) the images from and hosted them on her site. No where does she say that they gave her permission to do this. The majority of the pages do not list any credits do you have no way of knowing who actually did them.

Amongst the zillion and one images you will come across quite a few of the that are definite no no's. All of the "Garfield", "Hello Kitty" , "Mr. Potato Head" and mixed in are "smileycons" and other animated images that are liscensed.

The site was put up before 2005 as a collection of things that she had accumulated from friends, other sites and on the web. The majority of the "links" provided as references are dead links. I have my doubts that the site has been updated since it was put up. I have gotten no response from 3 e-mails that I have sent to the contact address. My e-mails get sent with a reply request, I have gottne none, so the question is does the addy even exist any more?

I know that some of the little animations have been used in tutorials as embellishments and basically I don't have any problem with that.

But using any of the larger images as the focal point of a graphic would defiitely be considered a no no as there is no way of knowing who actually made the original. And credit would have to go to the originator and not to ------ or the site.

Thanks for the infro, huronna. I guess I can't use them. but they are cute. I suppose you wouldn't know of another site that offers cute little things that are safe to use??? Grannie
