David Penfound is an online permission

Sorry to keep posting but I love Davids work and saw he was on the Do Not Yse list so went to his site and he is giving online permission.

I always understood this to be an artist that allows people to merely showcase his art on other sites.
Not for people to modify his works.
Has anyone actually written and asked what his specific terms are?
Especially with regards to tubing and animating his work.

We're working on writing to him with examples of tubes and tags from thezonegroups, but I just was interested if anyone actually asked him. ;o)

No, we haven't yet, tubes and tags for that mail are still being made, so he knows what we make and stuff.

well, Kim from DLT beat us all to it asking, after they shared loads of tubes Shocked
Anyway this is her post through DragonsLairTubes

I’m sorry to say this is not good news. Because we really wanted to be sure that he was allowing tubing Tilly wrote and double checked – David requested that is work NOT be used as he states it has been misused and abused by people actually selling it. However, he did make a comment to us about a “license”.. yes, that loud groan you heard was from me! *laughs* Gotta fun something humorous here, ya know? Anyway, I’ve asked Tilly to check with him to see how much a group license would cost, if he’d even consider it. When we find out we will let you know but until then he is a definite NO NO despite the statement on his website – so please, put the tubes sent in your DNU (Do not use) folder.
